Names and trademarks identify the game being discussed. Our original night-city illustrations are site artwork, not screenshots of a game running on this website.
Different versions mean different features
The original PC and console editions, handheld games, emulators and PC-based browser recompilation are not interchangeable. A car, control, cheat, mod or network feature documented for one edition may not work in another. Guides state the applicable version where the evidence supports it and avoid treating project documentation as device testing.
No game distribution or hosted play
This site does not distribute the original game, ROMs, disc images, executables or user saves. The compatibility tool does not run the game. An external project link opens another operator’s website, whose files, conditions, server availability and data handling are beyond this site’s control. A fan project’s open-source code license is not a blanket license for original game resources.
